A large attendance had a very enjoyable night at the Kilbrin GAA Social on Friday night last in the Hibernian Hotel Mallow which was attended by Fr. Campbell, Chairman of the Duhallow Board Richard Murphy who was accompanied by his wife Majella and Secretary of the Board Stephen Lynch.

Chairman of the Club Donie O' Mahony welcomed all present and congratulated all teams on their great success during 2012 and wished them well for 2013.

Medals were presented to the junior Junior and junior B hurlers and the Duhallow U21 Hurling champions Croke Rovers who brought honour to the club in 2012. Medals were also presented to the selectors of all winning teams.

Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame Award for 2012 went to a very popular Ned English. Ned, since his arrival in Kilbrin many moons ago has served the club both as an selector and a trainer to the football team, he was never found wanting whenever required be it at games or on the ground when there was work to be done, he gave his time, labour and machinery free of charge to the club. in the recent and not so recent past Ned had made his land available to the club for matches and training.

Kilbrin are very fortunate indeed to have inherited a man of Ned's calibre and we look forward to his attendance and support for many years to come.

Well done Ned.

 Player of the Year

For the first time in the history of the club a player of the year award was voted on by the players and the proud winner was Paudie O' Callaghan who gave an excellent display in both grades in 2012.
