Our Junior hurlers went
down at the last hurdle in the county championship when they lost by two points
to Grenagh on Sunday in Páirc Uí Rinn, conditions were difficult for both teams, Grenagh put it up to us from the word
go and while we did make a good come back in the last quarter we fell short by
two points. Final score Grenagh 1-10 Kilbrin 2-5. We would like to thank the
players for the great entertainment they gave us during the year. To Sean O'
Gorman, George Fitzgibbon, Pat O' Reilly, Denis O'Connor and Damien Crowley we
say thanks for all the time you put in with the team. A
huge thanks to our supporters who came out in all types of weather and to all
who contributed to our training fund. We really appreciate the support. The all
the clubs within the division who supported us, put up signs and sent good
wishes, we say thanks. Finally to Grenagh we wish you the best of luck in the
Munster and All Ireland championship. |
